Career and Degree Development
As I study career development in EAD 864, I find striking parallels between the development I've experienced in my career and the changes I've undergone in the course of my degree studies. In beginning my career, my interests were more information technology related, more technical. As I began the MA program, my educational interests leaned more toward technology as well. The longer I work, the more interested I become in the bigger pedagogical picture and the leadership aspects of technology, including what it can do for higher education. The longer I study in the MA program, I find myself becoming more interested in the EAD than the CEP, and finding more interest in the HALE courses than the ones I began so fervently. This is most unexpected. Exciting, but unexpected.
